Porcelain as Expression
Porcelain as Expression is a 56-page risograph printed zine created in collaboration with Wing on Wo & Co, the oldest landmark shop in Chinatown, Manhattan. This book is a glossary of Chinese porcelain motifs to aid in the understanding of everyday porcelain objects.
I had the honor of once again working with Wing on Wo & Co, a staple of the Asian American community in New York City. Through this zine we hoped to share the ancestral knowledge and wisdom about the beauty of porcelain patterns and how to decipher their meanings.
